Therapy Services & Cost
Below are the types of therapy services I offer, along with their associated fees.
Intake Assessment
$300 | 90 minutes
The Intake Assessment is the initial session where I will get a detailed history of your mental health symptoms, previous treatment(s), areas of concern, and goals for treatment. After the Intake Assessment is completed, I will provide treatment recommendations, referrals (if needed), and schedule regular Individual Therapy Sessions (if desired).
All clients, including those interested in Comprehensive DBT services, need to complete an Intake Assessment prior to receiving therapy services.
Individual Therapy
$200 | 55 minutes
Individual Therapy is a collaborative, accepting, and non-judgmental space for us to work together towards your goals and building the life you want to live. Each session involves a combination of psychoeducation, validation, processing, skills coaching, problem solving, and practicing new behaviors. Depending on your treatment goals, needs, and preferences, I may pull in more directive approaches including behavioral activation, exposure therapy, and/or between-session practice.
In addition to the description above, Comprehensive DBT Individual Therapy also includes weekly diary card review, between-session practice assignments, and a session agenda built on the priorities outlined in the DBT treatment hierarchy.
Family, Couple, or Joint Session & Caregiver Coaching
With Client Present: 75 minutes, $250 | Without Client Present: 55 minutes, $200
Family, Couple, or Joint Sessions are provided on an as needed basis to supplement ongoing Individual Therapy and treatment. These sessions involve bringing in a supportive individual (or multiple individuals; can include partners, siblings, caregivers, friends, or anyone you deem significant) in your life into the therapy room to address a specific concern or structure your social environment to better understand how to support you. These sessions can involve having you present, or with me meeting separately with supports in your life.
Family, Couple, or Joint Sessions typically happen outside the regularly scheduled Individual Therapy session and are billed separately.
Case Management
$50 | 30 minutes
Case Management services are provided on an as needed basis to supplement ongoing Individual Therapy and treatment. Case Management can be helpful if there is a need for me to connect with other professionals and organizations involved in your care. This may include previous therapists, medication prescribers, primary care doctors, caregivers, school counselors, teachers, and so on.
Case Management services happen outside the regularly scheduled Individual Therapy session and are billed separately.
DBT Skills Group
Adult Group: 120 minutes | Adolescent Multifamily Group: 90 minutes
Pricing varies
DBT Skills Group teaches skills in a classroom style format from 4 content modules: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. It takes 6 months to complete one cycle of the skills curriculum.
Myself and my collaborators offer DBT Adult and Adolescent Multifamily Skills Groups. Clients also have the option of receiving skills training in an individual 1:1 format if they prefer. Weekly skills group is done in addition to weekly DBT Individual Therapy sessions.
DBT Phone Coaching
$20 | 5 minutes (first 5 minutes each week are free)
DBT Phone Coaching is charged in 5 minute increments. The first 5 minutes of each week is free, after which it is billed at $20 per every 5 minutes. The week resets on the day of your regularly scheduled DBT Individual Therapy session. DBT Phone Coaching is meant to be brief, between-session coaching to help you utilize your DBT skills outside the therapy room. DBT Phone Coaching is not crisis counseling, a crisis line, or "phone therapy".

I am an out-of-network (OON) provider and am not paneled with insurance. Depending on your coverage and benefits, some insurances will provide a reimbursement for OON costs. I can provide a monthly superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for this purpose. Please contact your insurance provider to inquire about your OON benefits.

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate, which explains how much your medical care is estimated to cost.
Under this 2022 law, health care providers are required to provide patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of their bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs such as medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Your health care provider will aim to provide you with a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You may also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service or item.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill. Please discuss this with your provider.
Be sure to save a copy or photo of your Good Faith Estimate.
For further questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.

Note: As of January 2026, all sliding scale spots have been filled.
Making mental health therapy accessible is important to me, and I recognize that financial barriers often prevent people from receiving the support and care that they need. For this reason, I reserve a small number of "pay what you can" sliding-scale spots on my caseload, which are offered based on individual circumstances and needs.
Please note that reduced-cost spots are limited due to my own capacity and needs. I invite you to join me in reserving these opportunities for individuals who are in great need of financial support, or are experiencing extensive barriers in accessing mental health care.
I do not require income verification for this process and instead operate on a collaborative process. I invite you to start by referencing Alexis J. Cunningfolk’s Green Bottle Graphic (linked here) to evaluate where you might fall on the sliding scale.
